We are in need of a portrait photographer to handle our Jacksonville clients and hoping you could refer a few of your graduates or students.
My name is Don Cason. I own Cason Photography based out of Tampa, Florida. We are a family portrait studio with a 20 year history in the Tampa Bay area and a 35 year personal history in classic portraiture. We have successfully expanded into multiple Florida markets about 5 years ago and will be moving into the Jacksonville market this fall. Presently we are looking for a portrait photographer to cover the Jacksonville area. This will be exclusively environmental family portraits done in 3 locations in the Jacksonville area and will take place Saturdays and Sundays. Weekday Internet presentations and sales may also be possible for the right individual. Initially this person would work as contract help but could move into a permanent full time position. Pay is based on a 10% commission on sales from their portrait session. Sales from the portrait sessions typically range roughly from $600 to $1,500. Hourly wage for Internet presentations and sales is $11.00 per hour. The photographer would be expected to photograph 8 to 12 sessions per day and must have reliable transportation.

Please have those interested contact me via email with a resume and a portfolio of 7 to 10 images that would represent their experience in the area of portraits and/or photography in general.

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

Don Cason
