Freelance Graphic Design

I run a web and software development firm for high-end clients, and for the past six years I have gotten more business than I can handle with no website at all - just client referrals. Now we are expanding our offices into the west coast to compliment our east coast office, so I would like to create a simple yet graphical pleasing website for future clients.
I will only need a landing page developed, and then possibly some small help with interior pages. I do know what I want. You can see a list of websites that I adore and admire the way they are developed. I am seeking the traditional "web 2.0" website with the logo in the top left, links in the top right, and then your main attraction is a artist block in the middle top of the page that will list our wordpress/web development section link, and then our mobile application section. Here is a rough idea/wireframe (http://screencast.com/t/mB9C6Niug). You can see what I am hinting at with the below links and why:
mailchimp.com (http://screencast.com/t/dru5r1kX)
http://screencast.com/t/JJXYGvEK
http://screencast.com/t/ECV3KVnc
you get the idea.
Here is what I know:
1. 80% should be image/graphic design based in the mockup, as people don't read anything anymore when it comes to viewing a website.
2. I want to point out we do two things only, and those things we do very well: Wordpress development, and mobile application development. The entire point is to drive the user to click on either section so they can get into the internal pages and view more info about each section.
3. I do not have a brand name or logo yet, and you should not be worrying about that. It will either be my name or some clever play on words, which will be just text.
4. I will be using font replacement on the site, so feel free to use special cool looking fonts that have the embossed inside-shadow effect.
5. For the Wordpress section: we should be using a Wordpress logo prominently so viewer will instantly understand. The link to learn more about that section should be a button.
6. For the mobile app section, we need to be using images of Blackberry, iPhone and Android devices, and utilize their logos so viewer will instantly understand. The link to learn more about that section should be a button.
7. I want the container for the site to be 900px wide centered exactly in the browser.
8. Colors: Background should be light blue (#D0E8FF), the text font should be gray and the headline texts should be dark gray.
In a nutshell, I am looking for a talented designer who can create a stunning landing page for us, which will visually (without too much words) show the client what we do, and make them want to click to learn more about our services.
To apply: I need to see some of your portfolio examples, especially those using the style I am seeking (I am not the first person obviously who is making a site with this design element), pricing and timeframe for completion and how edits go. I am sure it is very hard to understand what your client is asking for when you go to make a mockup, so I hope the above helps to answer a lot of the questions you may have. I am sure we will have some element of back and forth once you present your finished mockup and will require some changes to make sure it's perfect.
To make sure you have read to this point, pls send emails with subject "Graphic Designer Needed". That simple test will weed out 1/4th of the applicants for some reason.
