Vizergy, a leader in hospitality Internet marketing and reservation software is searching for an experienced Website Designer to join our team!



Description

This position reports directly to the Creative Manager and collaborates with other team members to maintain useable websites that function well.



Among the duties that this candidate will handle are:

* Website change requests
* Creating table-based email blasts
* Ongoing website maintenance, including copy, image and layout changes



The candidate must have an excellent eye for details, proven experience with website functionality and a strong sense of design. The ideal candidate will be skilled at and well-versed in the creation and development of customer-friendly and exciting new site designs that communicate the ideas being promoted by the website.

The candidate must be able to work well under the pressure of tight deadlines in a creative atmosphere. Responsibilities will also include participating in creative brainstorming sessions with the ability to receive and provide constructive criticism. This position requires you to work closely with the Client Marketing Services and Technical teams to ensure all websites function well and conform to established QA standards. Familiarity with content management systems is a plus.

Requirements

* Minimum 1-3 years experience in designing user interface and graphics for web-based applications
* Experience with CSS is mandatory. Must be fully cognizant of advanced CSS techniques in order to minimize the amount of necessary code and maximize cross-browser stability.
* Photoshop and Dreamweaver
* HTML5
* Usability knowledge
* jQuery
* Flash
