1) "Dungeons and Dragons 3"- directed by Gary Lively and produced by Steve Richards (his producer credits are: "Matrix Reloaded", "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" among others) will start shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, January 24, 2011. Please, note this is a low budget film. The following positions are open if someone is interested: 1st AD, Script Supervisor,Production coordinator, Office PA, Set PA, Director of Photography, 2 x Focus puller, 2x 2nd AC, Data manager, Video control, K grip+grips, Gaffer+ electricians, Sound mixer, Boom operator, Wardrobe assistants, Make up artist, Hair, Art Director/designer, Set decorator, Set dressers, on set props, Transport manager. 2) LA internship: Drew Cooke, Associate Supervisor of the internship program at The Donners Company is looking for new interns. The Donners Company is a film production company in Los Angeles headed by director Richard Donner and producer Lauren Shuler Donner. Some of the films we have produced/are currently producing include: DEADPOOL (in development, staring Ryan Reynolds), WOLVERINE (in pre-production), X-MEN franchise, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (filming), HOTEL FOR DOGS, 16 BLOCKS, CONSTANTINE, LETHAL WEAPON franchise, YOU'VE GOT MAIL
DAVE, GOONIES, PRETTY IN PINK and SUPERMAN. They are about to start interviewing potential interns for our 2011 Spring semester. They offer a development internship with a heavy focus on reading/coverage/development as well as the more standard, office and administrative work . The internship is unpaid and open to students of any degree/discipline as long as they possess a strong interest in Film/Development and are receiving college credit.
