The River Club, Inc. located at the top of the MODIS Building in Downtown Jacksonville is currently looking to fill the position of Sous Chef. To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years cooking experience in a professional kitchen, to include the following areas: saucier, prep, banquet, pantry and hot line. A working knowledge of 5 basic sauce groups, soup preparations, food product, cooking temperatures, banquet production, sanitation standards, use of all kitchen equipment and accompanying safety features is required. Current "Certified Professional Food Manager" is a plus. Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays.
Job duties will include working in all areas of the kitchen as needed. Direct supervision of utility personnel.
