Job Title: Cashier
Position Summary: Primarily responsible for providing customer service, consistent with our Easy Sales and Service standards.
General Purpose: Customer Service, Front-end Operations
Role Qualifications:
* Must exhibit Easy Sales and Service behaviors in all interactions and communications with customers, associates and management
* Able to work a flexible schedule
Position Responsibilities:
* Deliver Easy Sales and Service
* Process accurate and efficient sale and return transactions
* Suggest Staples Rewards, applicable service plans and add on items as customers check out
* Respond and resolve customer requests and concerns
* Provide an inviting environment for the customers by maintaining a neat and clean area
* Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety standards
* Perform other related duties as assigned
Critical Success Factors:
* Drive customer satisfaction through EASY Service behaviors
* Drive front end operations to ensure company and service standards are met
* Exhibit Team CARE values
Valued but not required skills and experience:
* Customer service experience in a retail environment
* Ability to mulit-task
* Cashier experience preferred
