Responsible for production of all creative needed throughout the agency to include but not limited by, promotional products, t-shirt design, ads, brochures, POS, packaging layouts and other print related communication. This position is fast paced and will require strong time management and multi-tasking skills.


Responsibilities:

*
Provide strategic design solutions for a wide variety of marketing materials from promotional products to in-store Point of Sale material.
*
Take direction from MatchPoint senior creative associates, and where applicable, Client Service team members.
*
Responsible for all mechanical art details (file set to specs, formats, color seps, etc.)
*
Ability to manage a wide variety of projects/demands at one time with quality execution and on time delivery.
*
Work well independently and as part of a team.
*
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and visually.
*
Participate in brainstorming sessions by contributing/generating ideas/concepts to meet client’s objectives and strategies.
*
Ensures accuracy by understanding and applying the brand guidelines, having all artwork proofread internally and following internal creative processes and acquiring necessary approvals.
*
Proven understanding of industry – processes (print, etc.) and technology.



Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts Degree required. Certification/License: (From Art Institute).


Graphic Design education. Experience with an ad agency, graphic design firm or consumer packaged goods company a plus. 1-2 years experience within any production or pre-press creative studio required.


Full capabilities in commonly used graphics packages in either Mac or PC based; such as Quark Express, Adobe, Photoshop, In Design and a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). A strong knowledge of print production issues such as color reproduction theory, trapping and ink density, die lines, etc.
