Design Department Intern Web/Multimedia/Graphic Design

CFM, a full service ad agency, is currently interviewing Design Interns. Interns will be working closely with the Web Designer and the Art Director. Job duties include, but are not limited to, working in print, press publication, Web and multimedia design. Students will learn first hand about the work environment of professional designers at an Advertising agency. Web and/or multimedia experience is preferred. We provide clients with identity systems, direct mail pieces, Web sites, outdoor advertising, etc. Interns have more design freedom than in many agencies and many pieces may be used, published and printed to help strengthen their portfolios. Interns need to have a broad skill set, the ability to multitask jobs and meet strict deadlines. Interns are treated as part of the staff, and the jobs they are given are expected to be delivered on time (the proofs and final copies) and in a professional manner.

Preferable qualifications include:
Strong in print and Web platforms
Familiar with navigating CS3 Suite
Minimum 15 hours per week.

We are flexible with scheduling around school and work. Internships at CFM involve perks including concert and event tickets, gift certificates to many local restaurants and business and other promotional opportunities.

Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Any questions or interests and to set up interview appointments, please email Erica Lanier at erica@cfmedia.net or call 904.232.3001 xt. 401. CFM is located downtown across from the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium next to Metro Park in the Ch.7 (WJCT) bldg. 100 Festival Park Ave.
