Title: Student Help – Information Technology

Position Summary:
Responsible for servicing students, staff, and faculty at The Art Institute of Jacksonville’s Information Technology Department.

Key Job Elements:
1. Maintain active equipment inventory for IT Department.
2. Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment cage and computer labs.
3. Assist with computer and telephony moves, additions, and changes.
4. Troubleshoot PC and MAC issues.
5. Assist with quarterly maintenance tasks of equipment cage and computer lab technology.
6. Deliver media carts and assist with set-up of technology as needed.
7. Check-in and check-out equipment from the cage.
8. Must ensure security of equipment during shift.

Organization Relationships:
Reports to: Technician Level II
Interacts with: Students, staff and faculty.

Position Requirements:
1. Must be current Art Institute of Jacksonville student in good standing.
2. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
3. Must possess strong computer knowledge and skills.
4. Must be able to move and lift equipment up to approximately 25 pounds.

Accountability:
Direct: Excellent customer service to IT patrons
Indirect: Student persistence and school image.
