Position Title: Communications Intern

Brief Summary: The Film & Television Office, a division of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission (JEDC), serves to attract film, video and digital production to the area, including motion pictures, television movies, television commercials, still photography, music videos and corporate industrials. The communications intern will assist in those efforts by researching and responding to production leads; researching, writing and editing copy for our newsletter; compiling the Jacksonville Production Guide; coordinating marketing communications materials; coordinating bi-monthly board meetings; updating media lists; organizing and maintaining photo files and miscellaneous administrative tasks. Candidates must have strong writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Candidates must be able to multi-task in a fast- paced environment. Applicants should be highly organized with attention to detail. This internship is non-paid, however credit is available through an accredited university.
