DIGITAL DESIGNER
The right candidate will have strong digital portfolios with highly conceptual work including: micro sites, site lets, landing pages, email blasts and banner/digital ads...focus is on support for direct marketing and campaigns/pipeline, including knowledge of large, integrated cross-channel campaigns, as well as our corporate site. This person will have great web 2.0 design skills, be an expert in design software (adobe cs5), have a strong attention to detail, passion for great design, effective at time-management, and stellar interpersonal/verbal/written communication skills.
The right person will have agency and in-house experience; be able to generate concepts and designs for digital communications; and have strong design aesthetics and typography skills. They must be conceptual, strategic, collaborative, and understand how big-ideas connect brands with audiences. They must also have a true passion for, and understanding of, what drives consumer behavior and UXP.
We are an in-house creative group who does all manner of creative for advertising, collateral, digital marketing, direct marketing, presentations, motion graphics and video. The team is multi-disciplinary and works with our entire organization from marketing managers up to the CEO and the rest of the executive team.
Qualifications include the following:
This is a full-time, regular position to be located in Jacksonville, FL. or Dublin, CA.
A degree of BFA mandatory, MFA preferred
A background in Design - Communication/Graphic Design/Interactive Design/Visual Communication
Experience of 5-10 years
Additional skills of Digital design, Adobe Creative Suite, CSS, HTML 5, javascript/jquery knowledge
Level of independence: considerable and individual contributor, however will be naturally collaborating and mentoring more junior team members
Impacting on Decision Making: From an organizational standpoint, will be taking direction, however design decision-making is very high-profile as it represents our main marketing channel (digital)
Collaboration: Will work mostly with internal creative team members, but will have regular contact with extended marketing team and executives.
