Position Summary
The Transporter is responsible for transporting patients to and from the unit or exam room, bed weights, specimen pickup, equipment pickup and lifting and positioning patients.
Position Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED rquired.BLS Certification – which can and must be obtained during the probationary period to retain employment. Six months or more experience as a Patient Transporter, Nursing Assistance (CNA), Customer Service or Orderly.
