Job Duties:
1.Responsible for the selection, coordination and delegation of authority to supervisors and staff in the restaurant and kitchen.
2.Creates and develops menu and prices, beverage list and prices, and is responsible for the selection of condiments, linens, uniforms, and décor used in restaurant, lounge and banquet facilities.
3.Responsible for purchasing of food items and cost and portion control. Recommends equipment to be used and is responsible for the proper selection of all food & beverage products.
4.Maintains a system of cost controls through purchasing and sales. Approves all purchases of food & beverage and liquor.
5.Insures that all equipment areas of facility are properly used, cleaned and maintained daily.
6.Responsible for meeting state food handling requirements.
7.Will fill in at any position in the restaurant and kitchen should an employee fail to meet schedule, i.e., cook, busser, dishwasher, host/hostess, server.
8.Responsible for the hiring, motivating, training, and discipline of restaurant and kitchen staff. Monitors labor cost and scheduling of food & beverage employees.
9.Works closely with the Sales & Catering team to ensure booked functions where food and beverage services are required meet the request of the guest.
10.Ensures that excellent service is offered to the guest and that all franchise standards are met.
11.Other duties as assigned by general manager or as business and demand dictates.

Qualifications and Skills needed:
1.Position requires college degree in Restaurant Management or business field, or equivalent work related experience in restaurant environment.
2.State Certified Food Manager Certification Required.
3.Experience with POS systems.
4.Must be knowledgeable in Franchise Service Standards.
5.Proven ability to manage and direct staff.
6.Excellent customer service skills. Enthusiastic, out-going personality and interpersonal skills.
7.Proficiency in Excel, Word and MS Outlook.
