Title: Student Help – Peer Tutoring
Position Summary:
Responsible for tutoring students who request additional academic support.
Key Job Elements:
1. Arrange times to meet with other students in an on-campus setting.
2. Communicate with faculty and the Dean of Academic Affairs regarding student progress.
3. Maintain accurate notes detailing peer contact.
Organization Relationships:
Reports to: Dean of Academic Affairs
Interacts with: Students, staff and faculty.
Position Requirements:
1. Must be current Art Institute of Jacksonville student in good standing.
2. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
3. Must possess strong computer knowledge and skills.
Accountability:
Direct: Student Academic Achievement
Indirect: Student persistence and school image.
